The Front Office Administrator is the first point of contact for patients and plays a vital role in delivering an exceptional patient experience while ensuring smooth daily administrative operations of the dental office.
Key Responsibilities
- Greet and check-in patients in a professional and welcoming manner

Key Responsibilities
- Assist dentist during procedures (restorative, surgical, cosmetic)
- Take and process digital X-rays (Radiology certified required)
- Monitor patients under nitrous oxide sedation (certification required)
- Prepare and sterilize instruments and treatment rooms
- Take impressions and intraoral scans
- Provide chairside support and patient education
- Maintain infection control protocols (OSHA compliant)

Qualifications

This role requires strong technical expertise in digital workflows, attention to detail, and the ability to collaborate closely with dentists and clinical staff to ensure precision, esthetics, and functionality.
Key Responsibilities
Digital Design & CAD/CAM Production
- Design crowns, bridges, inlays, onlays, veneers, implant restorations, and full-arch prosthetics using Planmeca PlanCAD software
- Import and manage intraoral scans from Planmeca Emerald or compatible scanners
- Utilize Planmeca PlanMill for in-house milling operations
- Design custom abutments and implant-supported restorations
- Perform digital smile design cases when applicable
- Modify and refine occlusion, margins, contacts, and anatomy to meet clinical requirements
Workflow & Case Management
- Review prescriptions and communicate with dentists regarding case requirements
- Evaluate scan quality and request rescans when necessary
- Manage digital case files and maintain organized design libraries
- Collaborate with clinical team on shade selection and esthetic expectations
- Maintain efficient turnaround times for same-day or next-day restorations
Finishing & Quality Control
- Finish, polish, stain, and glaze milled restorations
- Inspect restorations for fit, marginal integrity, contacts, and occlusion
- Perform adjustments prior to delivery
- Maintain strict quality control standards
Equipment & Maintenance
- Operate and maintain Planmeca milling machines
- Perform routine calibration and cleaning of CAD/CAM equipment
- Manage block inventory (zirconia, lithium disilicate, hybrid ceramics, etc.)
- Troubleshoot minor software or hardware issues
Qualifications
- Dental laboratory certification or equivalent experience preferred
- Advanced experience with Planmeca PlanCAD and PlanMill systems required
- Strong understanding of occlusion, anatomy, and restorative principles
- Experience with implant design software preferred
- Knowledge of digital dentistry workflows
